Friendly, walkable‑first companionship that helps older adults feel connected, supported and part of the community.

We’re launching a new local companionship service in Richmond Upon Thames - connecting older residents with trusted local people for friendly visits during school hours.

We offer companionship Monday -  Friday during school hours 9:30am - 2:30pm as lots of our companions are local mums.

What We Offer

  • Friendly company & conversation

  • Walks, outings and café trips

  • Light tasks at home (tidying, organising)

  • Tech help (emails, photos, video calls)

  • Appointment companionship

  • Local errands

  • Medication prompting only (no handling/administering)

  • Pricing £25 per hour, 3 hour minimum booking 

  • Activity reports if you would like to see what happened during the visit*  

 

Note:
We do not provide personal care, washing/dressing, or medical support. This keeps our service safe, dignified, and clearly non‑care.

*Visit reports are charged separately

Looking for meaningful work during school hours?

We’re inviting people who live locally to Richmond upon Thames to register interest in becoming companions.

  • Flexible weekday hours between 9:30am - 2:30pm 

  • Above minimum wage 

  • Visits close to home

  • No care experience required

  • DBS checks provided
